Danny and Noshin have been married for over thirty-five years. We’ve always believed that life is twice as good and half as hard when you face it together — and after this long, we’re more sure of that than ever.
Noshin earned her PhD at Staffordshire University, and has spent years working in funding and policy, always asking the bigger “why” questions. Danny started out as an apprentice mechanic before spending the rest of his career in the voluntary sector — including twenty-three years running the YMCA — delivering real support to thousands of young people, year after year.
Between us, we’ve seen a lot — the best of humanity, and some of the hardest days too. We’ve raised two children, Lauren and Luke, and along the way we’ve gathered some hard-won wisdom about partnership, leadership, faith, and how to keep going when life gets difficult.
This site is our attempt to share some of that. We want to build a community of kindness, helpfulness, and friendship — welcoming views from across the world, met without judgement. However you found us, we just want to spread a bit of love into this corner of the internet, in whatever way we can.
